In the one active year, Stellar Girls Kenya has managed to effectively bring to life its agenda; to educate, to elevate and to empower the girls (and boys), that our small community of mentors have interacted with in the various activities we have had within the year.

This year, the SGK train has made an impact wherever it went and would like to thank all the mentors that took their time to not only support but constantly show up and show out in our various platforms.

Our hope, plan and prayer for the coming year is that, when called upon, we shall continue to widen our reach, learn and seek to grow while still impacting and ultimately make our community a better place not just for our girls but also for our boys. Happy Birthday to us!

ROOFTOP

After exactly 3 months and 11 days, today I went back up the stairs to the rooftop of the apartment we stay at. Trembling and shaking, I kept taking a step after the next hoping to get to the top. Several times I kept thinking, …why go? …but kept at it regardless. On this rooftop, I had set a very calm meeting place with my Father. For about 3 months leading to the delivery of my darling baby girl, I'd come up here, do some simple workouts but most importantly have a daily tete-a-tete with Him.
