Stellar Girls Kenya at the Mtaani Touch A Heart Event - Recap VIDEO: 3rd December 2022


We got an invitation to the Mtaani Hangout, 5th edition organized by HESA INTL this past Saturday. To participate, we took up donation of sanitary towels for the girls and young women present.To that effect, we successfully ran a rigorous 12-Day Sanitary Pads Funds drive campaign from 21st November 2022 to 2nd December 2022. 

With the relentless and moral support from our stellar mentors and supporters, in the 12 days we were able to raise KES. 33,069 which enables us acquire above 385 sanitary pads that we donated to over 200 teenage girls, young women and mothers at Lenana during the Mtaani Hangout event held on 3rd December 2022.

ROOFTOP

After exactly 3 months and 11 days, today I went back up the stairs to the rooftop of the apartment we stay at. Trembling and shaking, I kept taking a step after the next hoping to get to the top.
